Some conservative music critics might argue this began the demise of rock and roll. Let’s keep in mind, some of the same critics likely proclaimed the Beatles invasion as detrimental to the pedigree of music as well. What MTV did, for better or worse, was to radically change the music industry. It created a new medium for creativity and introduced music to a generation that was moving away from 8-tracks and mix tapes.
As we quickly approach the wonderful Christmas season, we here at Grizzly are gearing up for the launch of our music school in early 2013. On January 7th we officially go live with our creative, interactive music program that will take your music skills to the next level. We feel like we have a unique way take to those interested in honing their music skills to the next level.
As I sit here inside the empty Grizzly Music Company and reflect on what was held here this weekend, I am truly speechless (which is a slight predicament when trying to write a blog). I can remember setting out the last of the food selection and thinking to myself, “well that’s done, now I just hope some people show up.” No sooner did that thought pass through my tiny, self-conscience brain did I look up to see not just one, but several cars pull into the parking lot.
We’ve been hard at work prepping the school side of our space for all the new students and teachers ready to start making music. We’ll send out occasion updates via our social networks, so you should follow us.
